Pictures

I want to put several picture together and show to other people.maybe I can convert it in to a PDF file or make a PPT, but, is there any good idea to do it? I wan to find another way to put the pictures together and the way shouldn’t not take me too much time.do you have any suggestions?

1. Create a new folder
2. Take all the images you want to show and place them into the new folder
3. Order them alphabetically or numerically (i.e. 1,2,3,4,5…) in the order you want them to display
4. Right-click the first file and select ‘preview’
5. Once the preview window opens click the slideshow button at the bottom.
6. You now have a slideshow of your photos.

Note: click pause on the slideshow if you to control the pace at which pictures transition. use the keyboard’s arrow key to go to the next image.

If you are going to send this to someone via e-mail you should drop the photos into a PPT or upload them to photobucket or flickr.

just highlight and right click your pics ,and send them to your disk,or make a new folder on your desktop place your pics into the new folder and drag the folder to the disk.hope this helps (combot)

I’m trying save a picture in my gallery on my 3g Driod phone.

I do the same thing with my phone to my iPod. I either press my finger on the picture for a couple seconds and it gives me the option to save it or I just take a screenshot. I’m not sure if droids have screenshot options but it should be the same if you just hold your finger on the image.

when i save a picture from images on google and then look at it after its been downloaded and saved, windows photo gallery turns the colour really weird, like blueish and tinted and much darker. This has only happened since i installed a new printer. I used to be able to save and download a picture from google images and get the normal one there..What happened and how do i fix it?

Look at the presets on your photo gallery and see if there is some automatic processing going on when you open and then "save" your retouched images.

Does this happen on the Monitor or when you print the images.

If your printed images look differently from your monitor it usually means one of two things

* Your monitor is NOT calibrated and profiled or your printer is not profiled correctly or maybe both.

I have Windows Vista & I’m trying to save a picture that I have enlarged in photo gallery. It’s an old school pic so it’s small & I don’t have the original to rescan it, I’ve borrowed it from my mate’s Facebook. Is there a way to save the bigger image, regardless of quality? Any help appreciated in advance!

This is a bad method but it does work if you do it right.
Have the enlarged image on the screen
Then press the "print screen" button
Then open up paint and paste it their
Then drag the image to the top left corner until everything around the photo disappears.
Then click outside the picture to deselect.
Then at the bottom right corner where the white goes to grey, drag the corner until it touches the edge of the picture.

I want to add a picture gallery to my website and I want my images to still be indexed by Google, meaning Flash won’t work. I don’t have a PHP server. What should I use, preferably something free?

If you don’t have PHP on your site, it’s either a Windows server, so you have ASP, or it’s a server you should move from immediately. So either use ASP (vbscript) or use PHP on the Linux server you move to.

I have a samsung vibrant 3g and i just recently went on vacation and i want to print all my picture but when i put my sim card on the machine it said….memory empty so how can i save them in my sim card

SIM cards do not save pictures. For the most they save contact data & some text messages. That’s it. SIM cards on the whole are not like SD cards which are primarily ways of transferring media.

Picture Gallery isn’t included in Windows 7, but can I download it?

I don’t want to use LIVE Picture Gallery. I’m comfortable with and know how to use Picture Gallery that came with Vista.

Is there somewhere I can safely download it without viruses, spyware, malware and such? If not I’ll have to download some other editing program like Picasa, Irfanview, gimp or something else. I’ve got some good answers in my previous question about this.

Google Picasa is 100 times better than Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Live Photo Gallery. To be honest, I can’t see your problem, the "live" version does exactly the same stuff as the older Photo Gallery.

GIMP is nothing like Picasa or Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Live Photo Gallery. GIMP is a fully fledged image editor more akin to Photoshop. It’s not much use as an image viewer or to index your photos, it’s not designed for that purpose at all.

My advice to you is to get Picasa to organise your pics and make simple edits, and get GIMP for more complex editing. Both are free, so what do you have to lose.

You might also like Photoscape which is free too. The benefit of using free software, is you can install as many as you want – it’s all free!!!!!!

….but, it’s not full sized. It comes back cropped, or something. How would I print a copy up full sized?

Use MS-Paint’s Print options, under the File TAB.

when i post a picture as avatar in facebook it auto. goes in my gallerys and i dont want that…

so, how i can post a picture without it comes in my gallery….

i’ve seen, that by some others… they have their avatar picture without it comes in their gallery…

You can’t. You can only set your album ‘Profile Pictures’ to private.
