Where do Paparazzi buy their cameras and how much do they normally cost?
Also:
How much can they get per picture of celebrities?
‘They’ meaning the cameras.

They buy them in the same places as any other photographers buy them. In shops.

They cost anything from a few hundred to thousands of pounds/dollars depending on the make and model.

They can get anything from a couple of pounds/dollars per picture to many thousands if they get "the" picture.

The offered rate for a princess DI shot topless on holiday was a couple of million.

Does anyone know of a picture of David Bowie where he is giving the finger?

What would Paris Hilton do if she walked but a ton of paparazzi and they DIDN’T take her picture?

She’d start whinning, because nobody was paying attention to her.

I’m a new paparazzi and I wanted to know how I would go about selling my pictures of Hollywood Stars?

Posted on February 14th, 2010 by admin

I live in Los Angeles California so somewhere around here please.
Serious answers please…And it may be a horrible way to make money but…if they don’t want to be stars then they should get out of Hollywood.

what a horrible way to make money

If you do choose that path, make sure you watermark your photos, and do not hand anything original over. The internet is a good place to start looking, but if you see a fellow paparazzi just ask him where he works, or if he might wanna buy some pics and give him your #, if theyre good, he will come back for more.

Who keeps the paparazzi in business?

Posted on February 11th, 2010 by admin

Ill explain. They take photos like crazy that end up in magazines? The photos go for alot of money, but who buys these magazines. And for what purpose do you buy them for? They say that the paparazzi does celebreties a favor, but I dont need to see a picture of celebreties to make me watch there movies or listen to there music. Just curious.

There are a lot of different factors that keep the paparazzi in business. The photos that they take do go for a lot of money just for a single photo. Because with certain celebrities you can make $30,000 + per photo, I guess the greed is there. The photographers are able to make a decent living off of a single photo, and if you think about it, several good shots will be helping them live comfortably. So that’s why they’re always following celebrities; they’re hoping for that one-in-a-million shot that’s going to be their big break and help them hit the jackpot. And though we don’t know why, a lot of people buy the tabloids, and magazines that keep them in business. There are some things that people just want to see in magazines and I guess candid photos are one of them. I would buy them just to see what’s going on in Hollywood or whatever. Sometimes there are the big ‘exclusive’ stories that are interesting which would be an occasion for a lot of people to buy and see the photos. And in a way, I guess the paparazzi do sort of help celebrities: they give them publicity and everything to help people who may not have considered them before, and who may not know of them… Just saying. But then again, if you have a favorite celebrity I guess you could buy the magazines just to see what they were up to lately or whatever… =) I hope this helps you!

Will the paparazzi get into trouble for revealing posting pictures of 16 yr old Miley Cyrus boob?

Are they illegal? no nipples are showing, just the whole side…just wondering what the rule was there.

No nipples was showing therefore it isnt considered nudity…

Isn’t it strange that the paparazzi didn’t get any pictures of Chris or Rihanna?

Posted on February 6th, 2010 by admin

They get every picture you can think of and they didn’t get any pictures of Rihanna’s injuries or Chris getting arrested or Rihanna throwing his keys out of the window (supposedly) or anything! That’s kind of weird!

It is very weird! I was looking for proof of what happened and apparently there is none! I’ve come down with two options:
1. Her bodyguards were all over it and didn’t let anyone see what happened. The paparazzi maybe thought that seeing her like that would take down on her fans and she wont be able to be a celebrity anymore.
2. Nothing really happened. It’s all a rumor. The paparazzi made it up for the attention or they were thinking they should break up and made this up so they would break up.

I have a picture of an actor and would like to know how I go about selling it. I am not a paparazzi.?

Contact the gossip ads, like Star, Enquirer etc…and just tell them you have an exclusive picture of a celeb in his or her most embarrassing act, pose, etc.. and want to sell it to them. They’ll send you a dsiclaimer, and a waiver stating that all property received is now exclusive and sole property of such and such, and if they accept the picture and it’s a celeb in the news that they want, they will compensate you accordingly.

It’s called free-lance photography

How do Paparazzi get away with it?

Posted on January 18th, 2010 by admin

I have never understood this. By copyright laws, it’s meant to be the person who is in a picture owns the copyright. Therefore it can’t be published for money in any way. So how do paparazzi get away with it?

Or am i wrong?

Your talking about a double edged sword.

The images they take keep the famous and semi famous in the spotlight…something they crave and to further their careers need.

A good publicist/ agent for any actor/actress attempting to gain their client the next big contract might start making phone calls, alerting the media that said star will be at so and such at whatever time.

Don’t for a moment delude yourself into thinking these people were caught unawares…At least 90% is staged, yes even those risky photos of topplessness by the pool are not so innocent… they know very well what their doing…

Professionals know when to back off and leave someone alone…most often its the rabid fans who intrude into these peoples personal lives and that’s where the trouble starts…

Trust me when I say if the pictures were not welcomed a ton of greedy lawyers would be knocking at the door…
