What car do you first remember your parents driving?

I first remember my family going on lots of little jaunts, us girls riding in the backseat in a ‘50 Ford like the one pictured, but ours was black.

Ours was "Zoonie," named for a character in FIreball XL5. a puppet kids show in the early 1960’s.
The car was a late 40’s model, maybe a Chev; I am not sure, but, it looked like this (as near as I can remember):

I know it had a huge back seat; big enough for all of us kids.
Incidentally, as I grew up, finding these cars junked up in the hills was great, as we would take the hoods of, turn them upside down, and use them as amazing toboggans in the winter.
My father was one of those men who loved cars, and he was always trading them in, and getting others: never new ones though!
My favourite was when we inherited the farm in 1964. My great uncle had bought a Model A Ford pickup in 1934; we still had the bill of sale. My dad fixed it up (which didn’t need much), and we used that truck for everything!
