How can others see my pictures on Facebook?

When people look me up on facebook, the only picture that they can see is my profile picture. How can I let the "public" see my other pictures if they’re not my friend on facebook? I don’t want any other info to be public, but just my pictures. Thanks!

How do I hide certain profile pictures on facebook from others?

One of my friends on facebook has their current profile picture hidden whenever I click their profile pictures. Like, there will be old profile pictures on her account, but the current picture won’t be displayed. How do I do that? I don’t want to ask her… and no, I don’t want to know how to customize my album so that no one can see it, I just don’t want my old pictures to be seen by others, except me.
Help me, please?

The most trending privacy feature now days is to hide your profile pictures from unknown people or even from your friends. But let me clear one thing here is that you can only lock the profile picture album, your current profile will still be shown to everyone. To hide your profile pictures, simply follow the following procedure:

1) Login to your facebook account and go to Account >> Privacy Settings. (see top right side of your profile).
2) Now click on customize settings link on that page.
3) Click on Edit album privacy to view the privacy level for all your albums. (link: http://www.facebook.com/privacy/?view=photos ).
4) Now the first album will be your ‘Profile Pictures’. For that album select “Custom” option from the drop down list with the album.
5) Now you will see a pop-up on screen, select “Only Me” option from the drop down list for “Make it visible to” option.

That’s it, you’re all done now as there’s no need to save these changes. Go back to your homepage and your profile pictures album will now be locked for everyone even if the person is in your friend’s list. You can also lock this album for few people or none of them. Select the desired option from the same drop down list after you saw the pop-up.

How can I recover pictures from my micro sd card?

I have a Samsung 8 GB micro sd card and somehow it has become corrupted. It does not read when it’s in my phone, but I can view my pictures when I use the adapter with the computer. The problem is that when it got corrupted some of my pictures are cut in half with a grey box the whole picture isn’t there. Can anyone help me on if it is at all possible to restore my pictures?

I had the same issue before, then I had success with this
1. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
2. Download recovery software, recommended one is asoftech photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)

3. Install and open asoftech photo recovery, select your memory drive, and click ‘Start’ button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.

What kind of camera takes professional pictures?

im looking for a camera that takes professional pictures.
please give me different price ranges.

clear pictures, like ad pictures and billboard pictures. very clear
not like regular camera pictures. also, how can i know
if this camera takes these kind of pictures?
i dont want to go buy a camera and return it
after not liking the quality.

Cameras don’t take pictures – people do.

Professionals use all sorts of different cameras from mid range Dslrs through to Hasselblads or large format cameras costing many thousands of pounds/dollars.

They get the quality from knowing all about their trade.

How is using famous paintings as picture reference as different from any other pictures?

To start off, when you draw, everyone used picture references every now and then. Sometimes photos, sometimes other pictures, paintings (you’ll have to credit the original of course!) Sometiems it may help you get better at drawing, but not always. But does it change anything if it’s a famous picture. And how? Or does it mean nothing at all, it’s no different from using another picture as a reference?
Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense at all to you.

I remember Mark Crilley (comic book illustrator) talking about this once. He talks about studying drawings of the "great masters".
I think the important part is to study the techniques used by people who’ve been drawing all their life and perfected their craft. Learning how they draw. Famous paintings are usually famous for a reason – because a great amout of meticulous workmanship has been put into them and the paintings reflect this.

How do you control someone making your pictures their profile picture?

My mom keeps taking my pictures on facebook and using them as her profile picture by clicking that annoying "Make Profile Picture" button below the picture. Is there anyway I can take that off for good or at least just for her?

You can go to your privacy settings under "Account" and click "Customize settings". Then, edit your photo settings and save changes.

i am planning to put in pictures from my grandma’s camera to my wii by using the SD card. my question is, will the pictures still be in my grandmas camera after i put it into my wii? i just want to make sure because i would feel terrible if i put in her pictures into my wii.

Yes, the Wii can’t take pictures off the SD card.

I know how to get pictures on, but I mean how can I put the picture for music? Like when you buy it it comes with a picture, but I download it somewhere else. So how can i put a picture there instead of a grey music note?

create a folder on your computer filled with the pictures you want
then when you plug in your ipod go to the summary
go to photos
click ’sync photos from’
click ’selected folders’
then select the folder, then sync

How can I make pictures show up on my digital picture frame?

I have a NuVue NV-560 Digital Picture Frame. I have an SD card that I transferred pictures onto. When I plug the card in they will not show up. If I use that same card and take pictures directly on it from a camera, those will show up. Any idea on what the issue might be?

Pictures from a camera are usually stored in the DCIM folder.
