I was wondering what size should I make a picture to be a wallpaper for my palm pre. The one I saved before had black around the edges like it didn’t fit all the way. Thanks.
A perfect fit on the Pre’s screen is 320×480 pixels. Conveniently, this is the same aspect ration of the iPhone’s and since there are many iPhone wallpaper sites, you can easily download as use those on your Pre with no cropping or distortion. Alternatively, Pre Insiders has recently set up their Wallpaper Gallery where you can download (and submit!) wallpapers!

I went to settings and set my picture as wallpaper on my ipod but at the home menu its still black. Why hasn’t it Changed?
The only way you can change the home screen backround is by jailbreaking your ipod. When you set a picture as your wallpaper, its setting as the picture that you see when you turn on your ipod.
i’ve seen picture of the fuze with cool wallpapers but i don’t know how to get them. i tried putting pictures on the fuze but there’s no "wallpaper" option for the pics.
in settings, the only wallpapers it allows you to have are just colour changes.
You can’t set pictures as wallpaper on Sansas. Sandisk said so here.

There’s a picture on yahoo images I want to use as my computers backround. However, it comes out blurry when I select it. In fact all pictures come out blurry when I try to put them on my backround. What steps do I do to fix this issue?
Is the picture clear to begin with? Is it large or small?
If it is small, you may be enlarging it when you set it on your desktop and thereby causing it to distort. The computer doesn’t do too well at making up pixels, which it has to do to make it bigger. (It does a little better at throwing them away, which it has to do to make an image smaller.)
Check to see whether you have chosen "tile" "center" or "stretch" in Control Panel>Display>Desktop. If it’s "stretch" try changing it to "center". If the picture is then too small, find a bigger picture rather than stretching it.
