Hey guys. This will show you how to make your own wallpaper for your SpringBoard out of any picture you want. All you need is Winterboard.

Download Gimp, a free alternative to PhotoShop:

You mist resize the picture to these dimensions: 320×480

You MUST save the picture as a .png file.

i watch a lot of anime and i wanted to know how you "customize" the pictures like wallpapers for animes are pictures of like one character but with a different background and the character looks different with clothes style background… etc if anyone knows how plz tell me how to do it and wat u do it with

Use Photoshop. One of my good friends in high school pumped out tons of anime papers this way.

HunterXHunter. This is my 1st clip.(I consider it as a slide show ;p) It includes the wallpapers ans pictures I have.

you can upload large pictures there and it will NOT automatically resize it for you.

I just got my Dare and I’m still learning how to figure things out, I only have one question. Why when I set a picture from my pictures from the Dare as a wallpaper, the picture keeps getting zoomed in? Please teach me step by step so I’ll know how to fix it. Thanks

First App: Wallpaper Tray

wallpaper-tray is a wallpaper utility that sits on the GNOME panel. It gives you a random wallpaper from a chosen directory at logon, on a timer, and allows you to select a new wallpaper at random from its menu.

In Ubuntu Jaunty (9.04) and above: Right click the gnome panel, select the “Add to panel…” option and select wallpaper-tray in the dialog. A small icon of your current desktop will appear in the panel (right click to configure). And wallpaper-tray will also start automatically from then on.

To make wallpaper-tray run on login in older versions of Ubuntu, in Gnome:

1. System: Preferences: Sessions
2. In the Startup Programs tab click New
3. Name: Wallpaper Tray
4. Command: /usr/bin/wallpaper-tray

2nd App:

Wally is a Qt4 wallpaper changer, using multiple sources like files, folders, FTP remote folders, Flickr, Yahoo!, Panoramio, Pikeo, Ipernity, Photobucket, Buzznet, Picasa and Smugmug images. Not only that, but it also works on Windows, Linux and Mac OSX. Ubuntu users will be glad to know that it even comes with pre-build .deb packages for both 32 and 64bit versions

· History support
· Many wallpaper layouts available on all platforms
· EXIF data available over picture and in system tray tooltip
· Save downloaded photos
· Run-time folder change detection in “Folder” mode
· Proxy support
· It supports KDE3, KDE4, Gnome, XFCE4, Fluxbox, Blackbox, FVWM (unstable), WindowMaker window managers.

I must say, this seems the best wallpaper changer application I used. After running Wally (I only tested it in Ubuntu Linux so far), it sits in your notification area and you can access it’s settings via right-click:

From it’s settings you can choose to “Switch background on play” and then just click “Play” on it’s notification area icon (Systray for Windows) or Next / Previous photo if you don’t like your current wallpaper. Obviously, this can be done automatically without any input from your side, by entering a desired interval to switch wallpapers.

Other interesting features include the option to select the position of the photos, border, only use landscape oriented photos and add the photo info to the wallpaper.

Im thinking about getting the HTC Hero from sprint and i wanna know if you can put a picture for the wallpaper or background of the phonee!!! Please helps mehh!!!(:

yes, you can put a picture for the wallpaper on your phone.

you can make or download free sprint ringtones and wallpapers from ventones!

i had a similar problem until i found the site ventones
and they were able to help me with my problem.
A handler just means that you need the right format
on your phone. They explain it on their site.
The only way is to make the ringtone or wallpaper and then convert it to the right format for your phone!

take a look at these steps, even has an image of your exact problem!

that means that your phone cant play mp3 ringtones,

this is what you need to do

1) upload the mp3 file
2) make your ringtone
3) download the ringtone (mp3 format) to your pc
3) then you need to go to their Ringtone Upload Page
and there, you will need to upload the ringtone you created
and then you will see an option to convert it to the right format!

sounds sort of long, but its your only choice.
