Is it weird that I find a picture of my dad when he was younger hot?

My dad was showing my sister and I pictures of himself when he was younger, and there was this one photo taken when he was about 20 that I thought looked really hot. I’m really freaking out here – is this weird?

Not wierd at all. Its fine to acknowledge your father (or any other family member) is or was good looking. That doesn’t mean you have the desire to behave inappropriately with them.

Yes, that is weird and more than a little creepy. When I see old photos of my dad I tend to laugh, I thought he looked daft.You’re supposed to find them comical. I wouldn’t go telling anyone if I were you… it ain’t right.

When I was at my paternal grandparents house i saw a photo of a (very good looking) young man at the ceremony after finshing uni and so I asked who it was and my responce was "that is your father"
so yep, i know what you mean
aparently humans look for partners with both characteristics (visual and personality) of their parents

no it is not wierd. what is wierd is when you start to have an attraction to your father as though you were thinking of him in a romantic way. It is ok to think your father was hot in his days… just dont take it to far….

Nope, not at all. When you are two years old, you develop the images of who you will be attracted to for your whole life. This can be influenced by movies, or pictures. So finding the younger version of your dad attractive, isn’t a big deal.

OMG I did the same thing!!! I was like 10-11 and I went into my grandmas room and there were pics on her wall of my dad in high school. Although I didn’t know that at the time. I told my grandma that the guy on the wall was "hella fine" (hey I was a 80s girl) then she laughed and said. "baby girl, that’s your dad" I was shocked but then I said "well no wonder Im so cute. I get it from my dad"
No its not weird. Just take it as a compliment to yourself. Dad is good looking so daughter is good looking. Simple.

It is not weird. It is normal. Every girl loves her dad and secretly wishes that she finds a guy (husband) with all good characteristics of her dad. From But will not find that guy.
