Why do different pictures appear as the folder image on my ipod touch?

I added a new picture to my iPod touch and I want it to be the cover photo for the folder. So I put it first in the actual folder. Then when I synced my iPod, pictures from different folders became the image on other folders. For example a picture from my Family folder becaame the cover photo for my Friends folder. WHAT DO I DO?
The iPod Touch will always use the most recently added picture as the folder cover photo. Sometimes it does get them out of order, and puts photos as covers for different folders. What you need to do is take all the pics of you iPod and then sync them back to your iPod in the order you want. This should work, as it has worked with me many times.
