What does it mean when I can see a dimmed picture on my Yahoo IM contact list but the rest are showing not picture.

A grayed out display image and name means that contact is offine which could mean they are offline or invisible.

   When the contact is greyed out – they are offline

   When they come on line – they are illuminated and have a miniature smiley next to their avatar in your Contact List

   If you want to show only online contacts
   Click on page – Hit Ctrl & H
