How do I get a wallpaper desktop picture to fit screen and still look right?

Posted on November 7th, 2009 by admin

Everytime I download a picture for my desktop, is has to stretch it to fit the screen, and it loses its resolution. Where can I get pictures to fit my screen and still look good?

When you download the photo make sure the resolution is high enough i.e over 1000×800…..The higher the better….check out http://www.photobucket.com…There is no way to make a picture clear in a low resolution.

I use Altavista. Choose the images tab and choose the size of your desktop with the drop down arrow. It’s convenient instead of the usual small, medium, and large.
