I was wondering what size should I make a picture to be a wallpaper for my palm pre. The one I saved before had black around the edges like it didn’t fit all the way. Thanks.

A perfect fit on the Pre’s screen is 320×480 pixels. Conveniently, this is the same aspect ration of the iPhone’s and since there are many iPhone wallpaper sites, you can easily download as use those on your Pre with no cropping or distortion. Alternatively, Pre Insiders has recently set up their Wallpaper Gallery where you can download (and submit!) wallpapers!

   Hi, congratulation on you new phone!

   Palm Pre’s display resolution is 320 x 480 in 24-bit color
   so you can resize or crop your wallpaper to that size then it will fix perfectly.

   320 * 480 in 24 bits is the good one.

   Surely It will fit into your palm pre.

   Many Iphone wall papers are also available in the same 320 *480 size.

   So You can make use of them.

   You should make it 320 x 480 with 24 bit color, but there are many iphone wallpapers that you can use because the screen is the same. or you can choose fit to screen to make it fit perfectly
